Synthetic Primer

DESCRIPTION:
Alkyd based solvent-borne primer.

PROPERTIES:
It doesn’t leave brush marks, adheres to surface well, provides smooth and hard surface.

APPLICATION AREA:
Used as a primer for exterior and interior top coat synthetic paints.

APPLICATION METHOD:
Surface Preparation: For new wooden surfaces, knots on bare wood must be burned and impregnated by Dekorsan Wood Protect. If needed, cracks etc. on walls, must be repaired with Dekorsan Super Macun and then sanded.
Painting: Stir well before use, dilute with 5-10 % (by volume) of Dekorsan Synthetic Thinner for brush and roller applications. Two coats are applied with one-day break between coats, and then it’s ready for top coat paints. Tools can be cleaned with Dekorsan Synthetic.

DRYING TIME (25 C):
Tack free: 2 hours, dust-free: 3 hours, hard-dry: 8 hours.

SPREADING RATE:
10-12 m²/L, 6-7 m2 /kg area is covered dependent on the substrate for single coat.
