Yatch Varnish

DESCRIPTION:
Alkyd based solvent-borne, transparent, glossy yacht varnish.

PROPERTIES:
Provides perfect surface with its gloss, high film hardness, high scratch and abrasion resistance. It’s also resistant to UV and chemical effects.

APPLICATION AREA:
Used for wooden parts on boats and ships, all types of interior and exterior wood. Applied directly to the surface or on Dekorsan wood protect

APPLICATION METHOD:
Surface Preparation:
Dirt, grease, oil, old loose or flaking materials must be removed. If needed, surface must be sanded and cleaned before application.Pre-treatment for better protection to wood worms or to colour the wood, Dekorsan wood protect can be applied first, then Dekorsan yatch varnish on it.
Painting:
Stir well before use. It can be applied by brush, roller and airless spray gun. For brush and rooler applications; three coats are applied with one-day break between coats. For better penetration to the wood , first coat should be diluted with 15-20%. Second and third coats are applied without dilution. Dilute with 10-20 % Dekorsan Synhtetic Thinner for spray gun application. Two or three coats are applie with dependent on the surface. Tools can be cleaned with Dekorsan Synhtetic Thinner.

SPREADING RATE:
12-15 m²/L area is covered dependent on condition and type of wood for single coat.
