Parquet Varnish

DESCRIPTION:
Urethane alkyd based solvent-borne, glossy, one component parquet varnish.

PROPERTIES:
Provides perfect surface with its gloss, high film hardness, high scratch and abrasion resistance. Protects the surfaces applied on; against tea, coffee and oil stains.

APPLICATION AREA:
Used for parquet and all types of wood for protection against chemical and physical effects.

APPLICATION METHOD:
Surface Preparation: 
Dirt, grease, oil, old loose or flaking materials must be removed. If needed, surface must be sanded and cleaned before application. The spaces between the tiles and parquets should be filled with Dekorsan Cellulosic Parquet Filler Varnish , applied two coats with 1-2 hours break between coat.
Painting: Stir well before use. Ready to use by brush or roller. For better penetration dilute with 10-15% Dekorsan Synthetic Thinner for the first coat. Second and third coats are applied without dilution with 24 hours of break between coats. The surface can be used after 24 hours and gains physical and chemical strength in 3-4 days.

DRYING TIME (25 C):
Tack free: 30 min, dust-free: 2-3 hours, hard-dry: 4-6 hours.

SPREADING RATE:
17-18 m²/L area is covered for single coat.

STORAGE:
It has a shelf life of 2 years if stored unopened in cool, frost-free conditions.
